About Ziran
A key concept in the ancient Chinese philosophy of Daoism, ziran is a Chinese word (自然) pronounced, tsoo-rahn. It can be translated
as it is, naturally and spontaneously, freely and uninhibited, in and of itself.
Think of the pattern that a leaf or butterfly's wings naturally take, the way tributaries and rivers naturally form, or the way bark seems to naturally grow on a tree. Everything we see in nature just forms the way it does. In the same way, we also grow... just as we are... just as we do.
Most of the conflict we tend to feel in life often comes from trying to be a version of ourselves we think others expect. This creates cognitive dissonance, the authentic-self and the expected-self always at odds inside of us. I've discovered this is why we don't feel balanced, whole, and peaceful. We've f*cked ourselves. But we didn't mean to. It's a typical life pattern for all of us.
Then one day something happens, often an event or series of events. We start waking up to who WE are... how WE are wired. When this happens, dangerous honesty is the most viable path to inner peace. But that also disrupts outer peace. Honesty gives birth to authenticity. Authenticity flourishes with permission, which leads to the exciting exploration of YOU, true spiritual growth.
I believe THIS is how we unf*ck our lives. THIS is how we unlock joy. I coach by releasing clients to emerge in their own ziran life.
